In his role as head of the International Engineered Support Structures (ESS) group, David oversees the businesses outside of North America dedicated to the design and fabrication of Lighting, Traffic, and Communications Structures, along with our Highway Safety products businesses.

David joined Valmont Industries as group president, engineered infrastructure products in 2015. Prior to that, he worked with Thermo Fisher Scientific as president of its Chemical Analysis Division. Over a nearly 20-year period, David also held several leadership positions around the globe for Lincoln Electric serving as President of its Latin American, European, and Asian businesses before assuming responsibility for all of the company’s international welding businesses.

David received his M.B.A. degree from Harvard in 1994 and is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering degree.
